So I haven't introduced myself yet, thought it might be better to do that late than never.
I'm Forren and I'm an ideas machine. I'm not so keen on designing a game system from scratch, preferring to modify existing systems. I found the simple system through Kickstarter's nearby projects list, took a brief look at it, and ignored it for about 2 weeks while keeping the tab open. Once I saw that it was doing really well, I decided to take a deeper look into how the system worked, after throwing down some cash at it for being a local project. After discovering how easy it looked to pick up, and how little number crunching there was, I revived an old project that I had sitting on the backburner for about a year (It was/is, in part, a group project that was practically abandoned by the original creators, I took the work I had rights to [anything I actually wrote the docs on were mine, since they were supplements anyway] and am deciding to spin it off as its own thing). Along the way I also had the idea for a much smaller scale series based on several things, with more being added every time I encounter something cool enough to spur my imagination on to do creative things. Currently, I have about 4 projects (1 non-commercial, due to it being basically copyright infringement of a SEGA RPG/MMO franchise) in the pre-concept stage, and 1 where I have some work done.
Aside from that, I work Wifi Support for a major ISP and graduated from a vocational tech school here in town on the Dean's List. Computers, comic books, video games, and tabletop games are my primary hobbies.
Anyway, looking forward to whenever the system ships!

Hi there, I'm Rahonavis! I came across the Simple System by chance yesterday (long after the kickstarter was over, it seems, and I don't currently have the funds to order from the website) and was really excited by it! I love its versatility and design and elegance, so I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on it and playing around with it! I'm really looking forward to using it with some friends of mine who have never played a roleplaying game before and would be interested, but probably don't have the time and funds to invest in other systenms.
I'm a Computer and Information Science student that enjoys games of all kinds. I love learning about game design, and look forward to seeing what I can learn from the site. I also hope to eventually produce content of my own for the S. System.

Grrreeeeeetings!! I am Merle Moss (51), and I've been into tabletop role-playing games since the early 1980-s (mostly AD&D, DnD, etc, but also Amber, Mage: the Ascension, Rifts, Champions, GURPS, and several editions of Mutants and Masterminds). I am a Digital Backer. I run a weekly game on Roll20 (MnM 2nd Ed, Supers in a Fantasy world somewhat like Spelljammer, Monday evenings, PST, 5 - 9:30 pm, name = "Versus the Infernal"), and I am looking to establish and run a Simple System cross-genre game on Roll20 which I am calling the "Ace of Cups", kind-of an interdimensional tavern, once I fully understand most of the ins and outs of the Simple System (at least for Roll20).

Woo Hoo! Someone in MY age group! Count me in on that Roll20 game. Fair warning... I have no idea how Roll20 works. I still use pen and paper (and that creates havoc on my computer screen!).
