In the demo, there are 36 cards in the resolution deck. How many will be in the final deck? And when in play when and how often should a deck be shuffled? If shuffled too often, would this negatively affect the results?
Will 6 be the level cap for characters? Or will there be further advancement options?
Thanks. Simple System seems like a great RPG solution. Looking forward to see how it grows.

The resolution deck has 36 cards, and this plays into your next question.
When and how often to shuffle the deck is part of the strategy that a player can use. Lets say a while into the game you'll need to flip green on your next attempt. You've already been lucky and "used" all three of your critical successes, and during the game flipped different color flips, that have also had a lot of green checks on them. At this point it would be smart to shuffle your deck before your next turn, as the chance you'll flip the last green check fast approaches zero.
Inversely, if you notice that your blues have been a lot of strikes, and there is a blue flip coming up, it'd be unwise to shuffle.
For reference I'll quote Derek from the Kickstarter frontpage:
"Using a deck with a finite number of cards instead of purely random dice allows for a measure of player strategy, as they can keep in mind what cards have already been flipped and the likelihood of flipping a specific card (such as a critical success, critical failure, etc) on their next attempt."
6 is the level cap, after which players will advance by gaining more Power and Skill cards, or eliminating Flaws if they still have them. The reason for no additional ability points after 6 is it forces players to play as a team, as you'll only have one very high ability, or two medium high ones. Someone who pumps iron to get to +5 Strength isn't going to have time to study enough to get to +5 Intellect, so to say.
