Question about the lamination you use on the Char Cards

I was wondering how expensive and what the lamination is called, as I think it would be kind of cool to make a GM screen on some decent thickness card stock laminated with the stuff used on the character cards. That way if I change setting I can easily wipe off stuff I don't need in the new game (would be nice for writing notes in regards to common prices for common gear and just general reminders to my self that might change from session to session, also could write on the front things the players might need reminding of).
