Hey all!
I'm sure we're all well aware that Simple System is coming to Roll20 (or is already?). This is fantastic to people like me who live in the cold north beyond the Wall. With its designed-for-virtual approach, will we see Simple System on other virtual tabletops such as Fantasy Grounds or Maptools?
EDIT: As a side note to this question, what is going to be in the Roll20 module? Just the rules or also assets?

In my thread I created in the demo discussion after running the game on Roll20, I mentioned an issue involving the sheer amount of cards causing roll20's card system UI to obscure the playing field. DI replied that the module was gonna have custom UI to resolve that issue. I don't know if he's mentioned anything about other virtual table tops anywhere.

I've spoken with the Roll20 guys and we've come up with a pretty easy fix to the "decks obscuring playing field" issue.
The module will include the rules, all the assets backed by the community, a sample adventure in my own space opera setting (called "Starward Horizons"), an interactive character sheet, and a lot of custom AI elements.
As far as using Simple System in other VTTs, as long as they have a deck system it should be fine, although you would have to go in and add everything manually whereas the module will already be complete with Roll20. All backers will receive the files in digital format for 'print and play' or to add to other programs to use as they see fit, if they want to try something other than Roll20.

a lot of custom AI elements. You made me crack up out loud in an office, causing many raised eyebrows. My explanation of "Global thermonuclear war" only caused looks of alarm. Kudos for making my day this morning

Sorry guys, I meant to say UI elements, not AI.

These assets, are they the assets backed by the Simple System community or the Roll20 community? Either way, is there an artist amongst us? I have ideas for an RPG in the Darksiders world (Short version: The apocalypse begins in 2014, the Horsemen have disappeared, the players must save humanity and the day and find out what the Hell [literally] is going on!), but there aren't enough assets I need to run this game, free or premium

I've been through your art, and it looks really nice. Unfortunately, the Darksiders art is a little unique (see here for some and here for the rest). The generic demons can probably be proxied by whatever, and the Wicked can be proxied by any zombie ever, but the angels and corrupted angels in particular have a distinct appearance that I don't feel happy compromising with. Also, the Angelic named NPCs (such as Abaddon, Uriel and Azrael) and Demonic bosses would require something a little more recognizable. Then there's also the Charred Counsil and the Horsemen themselves

Thanks man.
Word of caution in case you are not aware of this but unless you have some deal with THQ to use their IP, you can't sell a game based on Darksiders. Technically even giving it away could land you in trouble.
I'm assuming you only intend to make the game for yourself and your gaming group, but just in case you set your sights on a commercial product I thought I best point that one out.
I'd read your post as a request for an artist to make custom content for your game.

Unfortunately I am in Espoo, one of us is in Germany and one is in Ikaalinen (in case you don't know where that is, it's the ass-end of the nowhere known as Finland )
