In addition to Kickstarter Updates, I will be posting all of the weekly release announcements for our September Rolling Release in this thread. Please be sure to check back regularly during September to keep up to date with the latest releases.
Please post any questions/clarification requests regarding the rules on our "Rules Questions" board, for inclusion into the final version of the manual, also to be released later this month.
Thank you all for your patience and support while we release Simple System out into the world!

The first of our rolling Simple System releases is live! You can now access the Simple System module on Roll20, here's the link: marketplace.roll20.net/browse/module/12/module-simple-systemHere's a quick breakdown of what is there, and what to expect in our next update: What's there now:- Resolution decks
- Support decks
- Starward Horizon Setting Deck (with skills, flaws, items, and opponents)
- A Release version of the rules (allowing you the opportunity to offer feedback and request rules clarifications that will appear in the final version)
- Maps for Part 1 (of 3) of the sample adventure
What's coming next:- Part 1 (of 3) of the sample adventure outline
- Additional tokens for the sample adventure
- Character Card integration
Please post any comments or questions you have regarding the rules in the "Rules Questions" board, as it will help us put the finishing touches on the final version of the manual. I'll also be posting some tutorials specifically on how to add content and manage decks in Roll20 for a Simple System game in the next couple of days. For now, there is lots of cool stuff to see! The majority of Kickstarter Backers should already have access to the module, you simply need to login using the email you provided. However, if you sent me your survey response after the 1st of September it may still take another day before you can access the module. If you can't access it today please try again tomorrow as the Roll20 team is adding the email addresses as I collect and send them in batches according to the dates on which they were received. Stay tuned as there is lots more one the way every week this month.

The first update has been posted in the dropbox repository. Please see your release document for the link to the repository, it can also be found in the latest Kickstarter Update. The update contains the following: - Version 1.1 of the rules (including some of the changes discussed here on the forum in the past 24 hours, complete with changelog at the top detailing the changes made)
- Part 1 of the Starward Horizons Adventure "Rude Awakening"
- Various art assets for the adventure
The repository also now has a changelog where you can keep track of all of the updates in date order (listed in descending order from most recent to oldest). Stay tuned for what's coming next!

A question regarding the Roll20 module, does it include a Dynamic Lighting layer, or will we need to add that ourselves?

DI, The roll20 changes look really amazing! And the new cards look awesome, I can't wait to see them on Roll20 (and in person, of course!). I'm personally eager to see integrated character cards/sheets on Roll20. Is that something you're working on, or Roll20 is working on?
Thanks for the update!

A question regarding the Roll20 module, does it include a Dynamic Lighting layer, or will we need to add that ourselves? Dynamic Lighting Layer is a subscriber feature in roll20. The GM of your group would need to subscribe to get access to it. I was surprised to learn something new from your video Derek. I've been messing around with roll20 for a few years now and I haven't noticed you can pan by holding right mouse button, which would have been quite useful last year.

I haven't added a dynamic lighting layer, if you do please post pictures as I think we'd all be interested to see it in action!

Hey everybody, just a quick note to say that the Powers Deck is now available to backers in digital format. If you are a backer, either through Kickstarter or the website, you should have the links in your email inbox! Feel free to let us know what you think in the "Features and Design" board after you've had a chance to check them out.

First of all, this is a fantastic thread, precisely what was needed. I'm very happy to hear some updates! Second, DI could you send me the link you've mentioned? I ordered the Simple System from the website after the Kickstarter project was over, but don't believe I ever received any link to a dropbox folder that has content newer than 5 months.
Keep on fighting the good fight, you're on the right track!
