Has anyone made their own weapon, item, gear or monster cards? I'd love to start playing this on roll20 and just want generic gear and monsters so i can do so

Well, sticks, stones and taunts are the most basic weapons available. While stick is a close-combat weapon, akin to the Assassin's Machete without the Crushing Blow, that breaks on a Critical Failure, stones and taunts are ranged weapons. Stone, range 2-5, single use, kills target on Critical Success, caught by target on Critical Failure. Taunt, range 1-7, unlimited use, ignores armor, deals no damage, can only target sentient opponents, target is Defenseless on Critical Success, you are Stunned on Critical Failure.

Thanks! This will give me ideas for my own creations I'm really looking for things for my post-apocalyse world like pistols, machine guns, leather armor, metal armor, crossbows, laser rifles, grenades, plasma casters, canteens, spiked clubs, knives etc etc etc. I also want mutants, raiders, robots, radioactive scorpions and the like. I wish I had the basic content kit digitally...for now I guess I'll have to base my own stuff on the kit in the Roll20.net backer stuff.

Stone, range 2-5, single use, kills target on Critical Success, caught by target on Critical Failure. That's quite a stone! What does it do on non-critical success? REALLY wish I had the digital files and final rulebook already, I want to start planning my Firefly campaign for my group, and I think I will have to homebrew the ship and space combat rules. After all, how will the primary buffer panel fly off otherwise?

It deals normal damage on success, and no damage on failure.
Beware that if the target catches the stone and flip a Critical Success on his turn, you're dead…

I have a bunch of items and skills in a rough alpha stage, they don't work as is yet, as I've just marked them with the intended effect. Very few have actual rules text on them yet, just some keywords and such.
I'm toying with an idea to split Weapons and Armor into one/two handed weapons, armor, and shields/held items.
As such, a player could have a two handed weapon and some armor, two one handed weapons and armor, one one handed weapon, a shield and armor. Even a two handed weapon, a shield and armor, although that would incur a double Prolonged Complication for as long as they would be holding the shield.
Specific skills can be chosen to mitigate some of the drawbacks, when using two one handed weapons for example 'Ambidextrous' would remove the usual Turn Down from the first extra target attacked, although you'll have to specify which weapon hits which target if they aren't identical.
Still working on how to implement shields without making them either overpowered or irrelevant, I'll likely get back to those after the tools are out.

I was really waiting for the dev files to make any actual content solid. I have a full world of stuff I'd like to get moving on, but the wait has killed my momentum

I'm definitely eager for the dev files. But I've started a lot of the design work. I don't have images, but it's easy enough to create background, stats, items and armor, spells/powers etc. then when the files are ready, just copy the text over.

I've made quite a few cards in GIMP - never used roll20 so no idea if they are compatible.
Can't wait to get the proper GIMP files from Derek as it is difficult to mock up cards correctly based on the few images he has shared - it takes quite a bit of work!

Mark if you saved your cards in PNG or JPEG format they are Roll20 compatible.
